Education:

PhD in Sociology, the University of Bucharest

Current Employment/Responsibilities:

Sociologist, lecturer at the University of Bucharest, Department of Sociology

Director of the Romanian Social Data Archive (RODA)

As a Romanian delegate to the ESFRI, he is Chairing the Social and

Cultural Innovation Strategic Working Group since 2011.

Currently serving with a Secretary position in the Executive Board of

CESSDA – Council of European Social Science Data Archives,  he is also

involved in the ESF research programs, as a member of both ESF Pool of

Peer Reviewers and in the Steering Committee of the QMSS2 –

Quantitative Methods for the Social Sciences program.

Areas of Research Interest:

The design of social indicators, social inequalities and generally comparative methodologies.
