Professional expertise includes teaching at university (master courses in the University of Tartu History Department) and R&D policy administration.
Till 2012 she was the Director of the Research Co-operation Centre of Archimedes Foundation. She has been, and is a member of different Estonian and European R&D policy bodies.

Areas of Research Interest:
Her main research interests belong to bibliometric studies. She has been member of the expert panel of the European Reference Index for the Humanities and is a member of the European RTD Evaluation Network. She is a member of the reviewers board of Scientometrics.
